比较中助动词的补出，必须与前面的动词相对应。前面没有出现过任何形式的be，定语从句动词是shattered，这里的had been补出不合理，可以用had done 除此之外，A这个结构很wordy，不如D简洁作者: beihorse 时间: 2012-12-3 00:35

这不合语法，要用Abigail Adams or Dolly Madison ever had shattered expectations

比较结构中，A do sth. more+adj.+ than B do, B后面的助动词的形式一定要和A后面的对应。如果A后面是to be那B后面也要是to be. A后面是情态动词如 can，那B后面也要跟can。三者不能相互混淆
