B 为什么不可以呢？ “当……时，则可能导致……” 好像也没问题嘛。请问为何一定要选e？谢谢！

possibly表示概率上的可能，can表示能力上的能够。两者强调的重点不一样，从中文上讲，可能不等于能够。

谢谢！ 但是…… （不要嫌我罗索阿~）这道题的意思为什么不可以是说：（在概率上）很有可能会导致什么什么，这个地方can 就算表示能够，也不是说就一定导致阿，所以好像还是表猜测嘛。

这道题的意思为什么不可以是说：（在概率上）很有可能会导致什么什么，

首先应该考虑遵从原文，即原项A的意思，所以保留A的情态动词。

这个地方can 就算表示能够，也不是说就一定导致阿，所以好像还是表猜测嘛

mm没有准确理解can这个词的语义。仔细考虑一下两个例句，

He is possibly the richest man in the world.

He can be the richest man in the world.

这两个例句的意思是截然不同的，can be和possibly之间不能替换。

这不是OG11上的题吗，记的最深刻的就是解释中对IF和WHEN作了区别

OG11-8       :        Diction + Logical predication

1. The modifying phrase when ... sales is needlessly difficult to understand. 2. The adverb correspondingly is incorrectly and ambiguously used; using the adjective corresponding to modify increases in sales makes the intended meaning more clear.  3. Unaccompanied is not wrong but not accompanied puts greater emphasis on the negative. 4、When indicates a period of time; if indicates a condition. If is preferable here.

A       Correspondingly is awkward and ambiguous;
    when is used to refer to a condition

B        Plural subject inventories
      does not agree with the singular verb
     leads; when is used to refer to a condition

C       Past tense were indicates a completed event, but can lead indicates a possibility that continues; when is used to refer to a condition

D        Correspondingly increased sales is awkward and unclear; verb (leads) does not agree with the subject (inventories)

E       Correct. If properly introduces a condition in this sentence; not accompanied emphasizes the negative;
    corresponding modifies
    increases in saler, the modifier is clear and comprehensible.

哎呀～我也这道题目搞不懂撒！！

I do not know why the subject is "inventories" rather than "rising inventories".为什么偶就不能把它当做一个整体考虑呢？（虽然从选项来说并不影响我做题目，可是nn们说要把og吃透的～～～～～～

那个什么possibly和can的问题新东方老师说过，i have got it～

B的错最大是在于用了leads,主语是inventories复数

可是Rising inventories和increases in sales不是不平行吗？一个是库存，后一个是增长的量．

1、请问一下，corresponding（ly）位置变化怎么影响句意了?
E中，by corresponding increases in sales
A中，correspondingly by increases in sales
就是“觉得”A不合适吗？
2、而且也不明白为啥that从句用would虚拟
3、rising inventories是不是也可以看做动名词作主语的，只是possibly leads这儿错了，所以只能把它看成inventories是主语？

明白了when/if，和can/possibly，能选对的，但是觉得这样选的是不是有点运气的成分，因为我正好想到了when/if，can/possibly的差别，可是假如再多看几眼，就会被那些问题绕进去了，浪费时间。

请大家指正！！！
