本题考虚拟语气,但我查了张道真的语法, 因为a portion of the capital为单数,所以后面也可跟was是否在商业英语中该用法不可以呢,否则D为什么错?

其实这道题是ETS长考到的一种用法的变形，if X happens, Y will happen。

关于这道题虚拟语气的用法可以看看逻辑里一种经常的问法，OG CR80,

If X happens, Y will happen参看OG 37,75。

X 不管是单复数，后边都用happens 吗　　　对这个结构没什么影响诶
