答案选C,很不理解，第二部分明明是but转折了啊，怎么第一部分还会appeal this strategy呢？

a certain strategy是指to charge the maximum possibleprice for such a product哦~
所以第一个BF解释了为什么那些商家会采用这样的策略
but的转折作用是强调上文的策略其实不好，然后转折引出更好的策略。

The first is a consideration raised to explainthe appeal of a certain strategy; the second presents that strategy.

前半句中the appeal of a certain strategy, 那certain strategy是不是就是"many companies charge the maximum possibleprice for such a product”, 后半句的that strategy也就是指这个strategy, 但实际上the second boldface是给出了另一个更好的strategy, 不一致，怎么理解呢？

说说我的理解：
4句话：1 the strategy 2explain 3object the explain 4 conclusion，further explain the strategy
仔细看看4 并不与1矛盾

应该是说后面consequently是对前面strategy的解释，不是两个strategy，而是一个。就是要收最大可能的价格。而那个最大可能的价格=小于最贵价格。故而the second presents that strategy

我的理解是这样的：
the strategy to maximize overall profit from a new product is to charge lessthan the greatest possible price.
最佳策略是收取比最高价格低一些的价。第一部分黑体解释了为什么是偏向最高价格，两个黑体中间的but解释了为什么要稍低一点
所以策略前面的两部分看似矛盾，其实是被“比最高价格稍低一点”相统一了。
