答案选C，可是为什么这里的them不存在指代不清的问题呢，不能指astronomers吗

因为这个的主要考点是“as large as or larger than”和“at least as large as ”这个“大于等于”的考点。然后就只剩下CD选项了。D选项明显能看出不对。而且抛去语法，看句子意思的话，也能明显知道这个“they”不是指天文学家呢。我觉得做语法，首先是读取题目的关键信息，然后对各选项进行评价，排除掉基本不会对的选项，然后把正确概率较大的选项进行比较，从它们的差异中以一定的偏好，选取一个正确概率最大的选项。
