答案是E。俺觉得E补全后应该是(Have) the economies of Britain..............有个规则不是完成时省略Have done中的done。而题目把have也省略了，这样可以么？

可以省略，而且应该省略。

如果补出或不补出都一样的话，根据简洁原则，应该不补出。如果不补出会引起歧义的话，一定要补出。

顶一下，refer to刘振民的语法，他有一条说，在than之后应该最好补出助动词啊？疑惑了
