想问一下问什么A, B, E都不对呢？虽然being出现在GMAT里一般不选，但是这里选being很简洁，还是说如果是being，逻辑意思不对，没有appear和seem贴切？还有A,B的话，逻辑主语是the youth canorous，感觉可以啊。还是说he指代的是George?

A,B,E的V-ING形式开头只能修饰主语the Youth Canorous，逻辑上是不对的

那就是说应该是George appear...对吧，前面的分句说的是George?

如果吧主语改成George，A就正确
