我是关于B选项的一个疑问，求教啊 就是B中的where there was……被OG说成是wordy可不可以这么解释？： there有两种用法一种是作代词指代地点，这个时候一定需要一个地点神马的给它来指代一下。I got my bachelor degree there。还有一中用法就是作为there be中来使用，这个时候不需要有指代对象，比如there is lot of money in my house（纯粹YY） 而这个句型中where there was中很明显是用作定语从句来修饰前面的clans的，这里的there可能想要表达的是other clans的地盘，那这个时候where就SB了，呗这句话给抛弃了，变得多余了，加之there was 表示一种自然的拥有状态也不对，所以这种用法where there be就是wordy了。。不知道这样解释这个的wordy和awkward可不可以？？求教大神！！！！！作者: TerraceHo 时间: 2013-1-3 10:16
there在GMAT常用用法： （1）pronoun，表示in that place，指示前面提到的地點[prep + noun] （2）dummy pronoun，[there be]
B項 1、where指代clans不對，where指代的必須是明確的PLACE 2、there be-FLIP IT--->access to water (that blah~) was there 這句話邏輯不對，而且distort the author's intention 原句說，獲得水的途徑有限---這裡是獲得水的（有限）途徑就在there 3、that指代有歧義，access to water OR water?
