是我每次【题目点评】的话都太多了么，囧。思路点评啊…我看看点评什么...囧囧囧

这里call几个人的attention吧~
9楼 hhou 问“为什么order后面省略should” ==> 貌似在题目点评里头说的很充分了。其实就是一个关于虚拟语气的运用的问题，这是一个死语法点，一定要记忆！只要出现了这些后面跟that从句的bossy verb，从句中的should就一定要省略。出现就是错的！

1楼庭草绿提到的朗曼关于【test sth. for sth.】这一个结构的解释。例句是：The water should be tested for lead。我们可以理解为是要表述【为了（测量）铅含量，而却测量水的质量】。也就是说，这个for后面一定是一个【动词的那个具体的目的】。而C选项，for后面跟的是for lakes，这个不是目的。更会被误解为for表示“为了”的意味。

6楼fox0923 想知道“为什么for不如of” ==> 第二点里提到过了for为什么错。此外，of表示的是一个从属的概念。这道题表示的是【测量水中水银含量】，它并不涉及说测量的目的是什么，只是说要去测量什么东西。所以，用of表示从属会好一些~

1、order，mandate等表命令的词接的从句要省略should. 排除ABD
2、test (something) for something ：to examine a substance or thing in order to find out its qualities or what it contains
例句：The water should be tested for lead.
所以C的逻辑含义不对，应该是测量mercury levels,而不是 lakes and streams.

根据语义，C是测试为了所有的湖和泉水，语义不同。所以E

其实我觉得如果不考虑should省略，其实A挺好。但有硬伤，只能退而求其次啦～

命令口吻的虚拟语气，order +that后面要把should省掉~~
这样就ABD就都不对了。
C 的be test for sth没有E好，表达也不够精确和清晰。原文要表达的意思是政府要求测量湖泊溪流的水银等级~
选E。
我觉得楼上的说法，即使A没有should 也不要选~看来看去都是E好~

Order 和 command 之类的表命令的动词要加动词原形排除ABD
在CE里纠结了一分钟选了E觉得读起来顺一点而且 C和A for的对象正好相反有改变语义的嫌疑
看了筒子们的解释知道mercury是水银就有些释然.... 词汇量薄弱总是弱点：（

1，that从句中有“be”，所以“无verb”的判断不对。
2，命令语气的格式，回顾一下

格式A：bossy_word + THAT + subject + command subjunctive
command subjunctive的法则是：
1）动词原型，无-s格式
2）如果是be，那么be不变形
3）动词前无任何修饰，比如“will，should，to”

格式B：bossy_word + THAT + subject +动词不定式

prohibit独有格式，形容词格式。

哈哈·~·碰到一个一起补作的哈·~握爪~~我说一下我的想法哈~~我觉得建议语气本来就有种虚拟语气的感觉在内，因为是建议，所以内容是现实木有发生的，比如这道题，should be tested，说明它其实木有 test~~个人建议，仅供参考。

楼主解释的很好但是A的解释有点问题。
朗文词典：The water should be tested for lead. （lead：铅）
所以这句话其实应该变成all lakes and streams should be tested for mercury（删去levels）这样就是正确的了
因为A be tested for B意思是说在A里面找B是否存在。
但这样虽然没有语义问题，却不是作者想要表达的意思了
作者显然是想要测出具体的level，所以就只能放弃be tested for的表达因为这个表达只能表示“存在性”而不可以量化
