When I was at the local television station, I was interested in the button "On Air" in the Control bureau. Nowadays, there are thousands and hundreds of television or radio signals on air all over the world. They pass a long distance in order to diffuse a variety of programs. Whether the government or any other group should be able to censor television or radio programs express the civilization of this country. To my point of view, I think there should be certain organization that censor television or radio programs.
Initially, in some other countries, there is little or no censorship on television or radio programs. But this fact doesn't mean that those countries don't want to have a hand on these affairs. Instead, they would make a very department to make some restrictions because there would be more and more pornographic or offensive information on the TV or radio industry. Thus, we must pay more attention that the trend of TV and radio industry seems to be inserted with more offensive language. Those countries where we haven't seen much censorship have less of multicolor television or radio programs, and that is why there is little or no censorship on television or radio programs.
More importantly, in China, the second largest Asia country, one institution has raised a poll among adults about the satisfaction of censorship of excess to the television or radio programs with offensive language. From the result we can see that those adults who have already their children show more satisfaction than those who haven't. Children are the future of a country. They learn not only from school but also from their daily life. Adults will finally become parents some other day, so they should have responsibility to keep the environment of children clean. This clean, I mean, emphasizes on visual and audio information.
In our society, lastly, some business depend on offensive information such as sexual pictures, sexual movies and gay or lesbian novels, and they conceal their petition that the government should protect their business as well. The administration of legislation, however, can keep running the censorship while broadcast another discipline about the rule in these specific industries.
In sum, the censorship should be judged in several impacts, and I think there should be certain organization that censor television or radio programs. Despite, perhaps we would not look at still the censorship, we might pay attention to the origin of these offensive language programs and to a more clear legislation which shows more accurately the objective of this censorship by the government.
