这题我做错了，答案是A，我选了C。 Prep的解释是：A中both dating独立主格在此表示补充说明，与each型独立主格同一原理；这里both用each来替代也可以；dating用了分词形式，其潜在时态与主句一致。 问题一：这里的dating看起来不是ing形式的伴随么？？？？？？怎么是独立主格呢？独立主格有用both引导的么？？？？ C的解释说，有and作为并列连词割裂了前后关系；现在完成时错误。 问题二：时态的错误我懂，但是and为啥割裂了前后的关系？？我理解是and后面是一个完整的句子啊，each就是句子主语了。不用独立主格结构。用and连接了两个句子，each指代A和 H，因为在两个连接的句子中，其位置相同，做主语。 求走过路过看过的兄弟姐妹们说说自己的看法哈！！！！作者: darlingchum 时间: 2011-10-19 00:54

For example, the following sentence There was a lot of traffic on the freeway, and I was late to work.
"AND" implies that these are SEPARATE & INDEPENDENT - so, the implication is that I was NOT made late by the traffic. Instead, the meaning is just "Here are two unfortunate things that happened today. "
