我知道其他都不对，可是a也觉得不太对啊，照a所说那residents of Maine were culture 吗，这

不就是人是文化吗

我也被這題困擾了一下

看了OG解釋後注意到

再排除了過去完成式的選項後

剩下AC

(A) residents were part of a widespread culture

(C)residents were people who were part of a culture

這兩各選項都表達了人是文化的意思

若非要再這兩各裡面挑一各

當然挑A囉..... 因為C的residents were people who were part of a culture

的說法太囉唆了....不簡潔

我觉得并不是说residents were part of a culture就是错的.也许在ETS看来,这种逻辑是合理的.只是从中文角度理解感觉不合理.

从这题更可以看出其实GMAT做题,比较地做题选答案是个很好的办法.答案是比较着选出来的.
