两者都是条件句，咋区分什么时候用哪个呢？

在表示将来的状语从句中,谓语动词须用一般现在时或其他现在时态。除when外,引导这种时间状语从句的还有while, before, after, until, as soon as等。如:
He'll go to college after he finishes his middle school course. 他中学毕业后要上大学。

所以在由when,while,after等引导的从句中，必须用现在时态表将来
