The correct answer is A.

The errors in BDE are obvi. But how the choice C doesnt work? In fact I have a good reason to eliminate the choice A. Cuz according to the parellism, ", a meat-eating dinosaur that is a distant relative of Tyrannosaurus rex and closely resembles South American predatory dinosaurs, " misses a "that" before "closely resembles".

Can anyone help. Thx a lot!

并列没有miss “that”，时态一致没有问题。

我觉得C选项：
closely resembled语态错误，为了表面的时态一致故意用过去时态。
a distant relative 和distantly related意思是不一样的，一个是远亲，一个是“关系比较远”，并不同价。

谢谢你的回答。我知道C为什么不对了。但是A的that为什么不用补出来呢？

我记得做过的题目是that。and that。。。前面有that后面的可以省落，但是反过来不行
