Hey there—I think we may have already responded to your question elsewhere? J But again, juuust in case, here is the way to skin it. You want to be sure to connect your past to your future goals. So if there is a possibility to go back and run a publishing house, THAT would be ideal. If there is a chance to do something else that is connected, somehow, to publishing, THAT is what you need to do. What ELSE do publishers do? Is there supply chain work? Is there consulting work, WITHIN publishing? Remember, the reader doesn’t know what publishing work entails. So tell us what kinds of work you do, and LINK that work (even if it isn’t actual PUBLISHING) to your past. If you can create this link between the past and the future, you will be successful this year! Good luck my friend.

特别感谢这样的一种思路。其实很多朋友会在career goal 上有彷徨。还有很多人不同意Jon的观点。但不可否认的是，当前来看，这是最容易起步，也较符合逻辑的一种思路。也许对其他industry的朋友有点点借鉴作用吧。
