A、没有根据的被动语态;代词they没有指代对象;
C、分词逻辑主语与句子主语不一致;
E、过去完成时没有根据;分词位置有歧义;
我觉得A which指代presidential election 不会,which 应该指代faulty voting equipment
E, estimate后面要有that

cite……in……
The judge cited a 1956 Supreme Court ruling in her decision.
96 million had been counted and 4 million had not been counted,

1。D:A ... study has cited ... problems ... in estimating ... .
A.which就近指代election,显然election无法estimate
C.改变了原句的意思,原句是说a new study of the 2000,而 c中说 a new study,显然二者范围是不一样的
D.除了犯了C的错误外,in estimating that 后面又有votes that让整个句子结构太复杂,that 从句修饰不清

还想请问一下a中的which 究竟应该指代什么,election? or a study ?or Faulty voting equipment?
- Faulty voting equipment, confusing ballots, voter error, and problems at polling places have been cited by a new study of the 2000 LACE>United StatesLACE> presidential election, which estimated that they did not count 4 million to 6 million of the 100 million votes cast.

up
xxiaoyan.. Faulty voting equipment, confusing ballots, voter error, and problems at polling places
which指代election
请问,有没有 D中,cite sth in doing sth的用法?
B.Citing faulty voting equipment, confusing ballots, voter error, and problems at polling places, a new study of the 2000 United States presidential election has estimated that 4 million to 6 million of the 100 million votes cast were not counted.
4 million to 6 million of the 100 million votes cast were not counted.

(A)which不能指代前面整句话,也离可能被修饰的词a new study太远,另外they没有指代对象;(C)Citing的逻辑主语是后面主句的主语votes,错;(D)cast在前,count在后,两者时态不对;(E)estimate用的是现在完成时,count用的是过去完成时,时态也不对,另外citing…

1.which不是study吗?

B.Citing faulty voting equipment, confusing ballots, voter error, and problems at polling places, a new study of the 2000 United States presidential election has estimated that 4 million to 6 million of the 100 million votes cast were not counted.
4 million to 6 million of the 100 million votes cast
were not counted.
cast过去分词修饰votes,相当于定语从句that were cast,
estimate的主语应该是a new study
(A), a study of the 2000 United states presidential election 不相符.
4 million to 6 million of the 100 million votes cast were not counted的结论,因此A把faulty....
