1. Computers are becoming faster, more powerful, and more reliable, and so too are modems, they are the devices to allow two or more computers to share information over regular telephone lines.

(A) so too are modems, they are the devices to allow

(B) so too are modems, the devices that allow

(D) also modems, they are the devices that allow（B）

(E) also modems, which are the devices to allow

so too 是个什么结构呢？好像没有见过。 d 和e 好像还象答案一点。总之，这题，我不太明白。望大家指教！

如果说so too是倒装的话，是不是同于 so do I 这种形式。如果这样的话，too 岂不可以省略？

我觉得等同。

我也觉得可以省略，不影响句子的含义，不过这道题好像都有too.

我也觉得这个是倒装，不过对于这个too也不太明白，既然已经so are modems了，为什么还要too呢，这个不是冗余么？关键还是这个结构看起来比较陌生，从来没有遇到过。。。

这个too是可以省略的。加了too更强调一下。

为什么不能用to allow 来修饰devices呢？

个人意见：

so这里指modems与computers的共有特性。所以and前后应连接2个句子。CE后面都不是完整句。D容易引起歧义，they指代不清。A中and后面连接句子中有2个谓语动词。所以选B

关于so too结构目前我只知道 just as..., so too+倒装句或正常语序译为：正如。。。；同样的。。。

这道题我原来不会今天不经意看到了不知现在我理解的对不对请指正
