Laws requiring the use of headlights during daylight hours can prevent automobile collisions. 远离赤道的高纬度国家白天能见度低，所以在这些国家白天开行车灯能够减少交通事故。

美国大陆白天能见度比那些高纬度国家要高，所以白天开新车灯不会有效减少交通事故。所以相关法律规定即使在美国大陆生效，减少交通事故的有效程度不及高纬度国家。

楼主我有个特别特别疑惑的地方。。。
看了好几个解释，为啥都说美国大陆白天能见度就是别那些高纬度国家高？这是哪句话可以得出的结论？！
