这题答案是A，可是把A简化后变成residents were culture, 逻辑上没有问题吗？

Residents were part of a culture. 没有问题的，culture 是有很多部分组成的，比如人，历史，。。。，

这题其实就两个points: 1. 人(people, or residents) were part of a culture. 2. People are Algonquian-speaking. 所以Algonquian-speaking 只能修饰人，不能修饰culture, because culture can NOT speak.
