1.For all positive interger m,m=3m when m is odd and m=1/2m when m is even. What is the value of 9*6?
答案是27但我觉得是81

4. In the figure shown, what is the value of x?

(1) the length of line segment QR is equal to the length of line segment RS

(2) the length of line segment ST is equal to the length of line segment TU,

当（1）（2）联立，是否可以求出x的值？原因？

5. Each of the 25 balls in a certain box is either red, blue or white and has a number from 1 to 10 painted on it. If one ball is to be selected at random from the box, what is the probability that the ball selected will either be white or have an even number painted on it?

(1)The probability that the ball will both be while and have an even painted on it is 0.

(2) The probability that the ball will be white minus the probability that the ball will have an even number painted on it is 0.2.

当（1）（2）联立，是否可求出所求？原因？

这道题对应的概率公式是哪个？

9. A certain company has 18 equally qualified applicants for 4open positions. How many different groups of 4 applicants can be chosen by the company to fill the position if the order of the selection does not matter?

Answer是3060，怎么求的？

第二题附件传不上，那我描述一下

直角三角形RPT，P为直角，S在RT边上，Q在RQ边上，U 在PT边上。x为角QSU的度数。

第四题两个条件一起可以求出x=45
第五题，设white=W，even=E，题目是要求P（W∪E）
P（W∪E）=P（W）+P（E）-P（W∩E）
条件1知道P（W∩E）=0，不知其它两个，不充分
条件2知道P（W）-P（E）=0.2，不充分
两个条件一起也无法知道P（W）+P（E），所以选E
第九题=C（4 18）

角RQS=角RSQ=x 则角R=180-2x

角T=90-角R=90-（180-2x）=2x-90

角TSU=角TUS=1/2×（180-角T）=0.5[180-（2x-90）]=135-x

所以角QSU=180-角QSR-角TSU=180-x-（135-x）=45

第一题，把带有下滑钱的m记为f(m)，你再看看试试

第9题，，就是18个里面任选4个嘛，，因为只是问可以分几组，不考虑组内4个人的位置问题，那就是C4 18(不好意思，不会打那个符号)，(18*17*16*15)/(4*3*2)

第一题应该是27

方框9*方框6算出来的确是81，但是因为答案都是有方框。。27是个奇数。由于方框M=3M，所以方框27=27*3=81
