我觉得有3个原因，不一定对，就说出来咱们交流一下吧~ 1. 过去完成时有一个要点：开始与过去+结束与过去（Manhattan）。本题中你看不到explicitly 表明是结束于过去的。【这是我最有把握的一点，现在发现这个很好用】 2.propose the concept of... 是一种类似实验，科研的表述，通常用一般时，不用完成时。 3.咱们平时说过去完成时要在过去的过去，但是led和exist没有一点点关系，不应该作为判断标准，要是找“过去的过去”也应该在相关的 in which great ice sheets had existed in now currently temperate areas.最后一句找~
