前面两题我也不会,212选D的原因是因为D比A简洁,而且A的all很有问题~~~ 215我觉得应该选D,PREP有语法讲到,the number of 谓语用单数,a number of 谓语用复数; 216workers引导的那部分作pensions的同位语,不用加that; 217选C,这里考察的是ability to do 的用法,一下子就排除ABE,CD选C的原因是因为since在这里应该是自从的意思,主句要用完成时。这句话的正常语序应该是Since Galileo suffered the “scurvy humor” of the Inquisition, a religious organization has not so effectively curbed the ability of a major scientist scientist to pursue a theory.
以上纯属个人意见~~~~欢迎大家探讨。。。。作者: 19911208 时间: 2011-8-25 21:07

1. 这题不是很确定,不过Manhattan的Idiom上的用法,This paper is LESS impressive THAN that one This paper is NO LESS impressive THAN that one。这里我觉得No less……than是idiom,我没有见过not less……than的用法,所以我会选A。 2. Manhattan的Idiom上说forbid正确的用法是forbid sb. to do,forbid sb. from doing是错的,这题我会选B,dismiss前面省略了to。 3. 我认为是单复数问题~应该是problems,因为前面是children 4. Manhattan的Idiom:double的正确例子:Naomi’s income doubled in three years, double做及物不及物动词都是可以的,这题我会选C……D和E中over the past decade和in the last ten years重复,应该是挺确定的错误……E中的the number of……are是错的,而且Blacks who are attending school的现在进行时也错了~ 5. BD,Idiom:the ability of sb. to do sth.,这里不是so……that……的用法,即使是,也应该是so……that he could not pursue,才从逻辑意思上make sense,这里直接加to简洁清楚~所以我会选C~作者: sanlingjie 时间: 2011-8-25 21:44
