2.关于be动词和do,是否在平行结构中可以一起用，但是在比较结构中就不行？比如说，Lao has a land area of about the same size as the Great Britain is就是错误的，而Sampson joined the army at the age of 22, was injured three times, and was discharged in 1783就是正确的
4.有一个题的正确选项我不太理解：Yet the temperature are so cold and the ice cap is so reflective that little polar ice melts during the summer; Were it to do so, the water levels of the oceans would rise 250 feet. 这里的were it to do so指代什么啊？

1.which优先修饰就近名词。谓语看就近名词单复数。语义上主系表结构中主=表，即语义上也修饰了主语。which的修饰包括跳跃修饰是没有规律的，要具体问题具体分析。
2. Great Britain "is" the size? 谓语本来就用错了
3.时态肯定要根据时间变化。当然不是。to do and to do 和 doing and doing的平行结构很多。
4.虚拟语气省略If的句式，还原后是If it were to do so,..............建议网上找资料看看虚拟语气
