57. That educators have not anticipated the impact of microcomputer technology can hardly be said that it is their fault : Alvin Toffler, one of the most prominent students of the future, did not even mention microcomputers in Future Shock, published in 1970.
(A) That educators have not anticipated the impact of microcomputer technology can hardly be said that it is their fault
(B) That educators have not anticipated the impact of microcomputer technology can hardly be said to be at fault
(C) It can hardly be said that it is the fault of educators who have not anticipated the impact of microcomputer technology

答案是D没有问题,但对OG对E的解释不是很明白,除了“The fact” is wordy以外,OG还说“the inverted construction does not successfully convey the meaning of the sentence.",为什么?正确选项的It can hardly be said ***和E去掉"the fact”以后的That *** can hardly be said 有什么区别?求教啊!!!!

非牛,谈一下我的理解
原句的意思是:很难说教育者在……有错误。不确定教育者有没有错误
而E选项的意思是:“教育者在……有错误的事实”很难说。即使以中文来看,这句话都不符合逻辑:很难说事实?

E选项中,The fact 后面的就是在说这个事实,所以the fact重复啰嗦。
先忽略the fact,然后看一下这个句子的框架。
That educators are at fault can hardly be said.
这题要表达的意思是,很难说教育家没有预期到微型计算机科技的影响是错误的。
而E选项已经变成,教育家是错误的很难说。已经说了教育家是错误的,那还有什么can hardly be said。
因此,OG中对于E选项中后半句解释是,插入的结构没有正确表达句子的含义。插入的结构应该是“That educators are at fault can hardly be said.”中的are at fault。

正确选项的It can hardly be said ***和E去掉"the fact”以后的That *** can hardly be said 有什么区别?
我觉得在语法上没什么区别,意思是一样的,只是一个用了强调句型一个用that引导主语从句,形式不一样而已。前提是E去掉the fact。但是用that引导这么长一串很冗长,头重脚轻,而用it is .....that的形式可以避免这种头重脚轻,一目了然。将后面的句子连起来,你会觉得it is...that....的强调句型更加流畅,与后面的句子衔接的更加紧密。其他的也说不出来什么不同。同等待NN解答!

OG说的貌似是inverted construction.........意思是倒转过来的结构,即将it can hardly be said that....... 变成 that+主从+can hardly be said.

嗯我也是这么想的……虽然用主语从句感觉头重脚轻但也不影响意思表达,为什么OG说不能convey the meaning of the sentence??等待NN!

没有什么问题,就是因为the fact导致的wordy,和头重脚轻导致的重心不明确是作者的意思不能 successfully 表达出来。解释并没说不能表达出来~!
