答案选D, 我想请问选D的原因是“provide for doing sth”? 还是 “support for”? 并且“provide to” 这种用法是否正确？

1. 主语是New genetic evidence，所以谓语是单数CDE备选
2. support for的关系，所以选D

3. 多加一句；即便没有support for/to的关系，E比C好，因为GMAC偏好用verb而不是noun,所以在相同的意思，语法没有问题的前提下，选择那个用verb的词
