从句主语depressed property values 首先指向主句主语they。

楼上说的对。我的理解,一般从句中有两个以上复数名词在主句的代词之前,必须保持从句主语和从句主语的一致。如果不能保证这个一致关系,那么认为这个代词指代不清。如

这个指待就是有问题的。因为应该指待从句主语-researchers,但是明细句意是指待wolves,所以犯了指待不清的问题。
