答案选C，我也知道其它选项的错误，想问一个主谓单复数：thecoyote不是表示这个种类么，prep语法笔记说：定冠词the+姓氏、朝代、部族名称等，表示一群人，是集合名词，位于要求用复数。如theSmith为史密斯一家，theShang表示商朝人等。那么这里的C如果用their和have是不是才对呢？

@lz: the coyote是以the+单数名词的泛指，和“定冠词the+姓氏、朝代、部族名称等”无关

though從句省略了subject，E表示主語是“amazing ability of the coyote to adapt to the presence of humans”^^
