prep解析：B正确，其中that指代的是annual per capita income。That是中心词指代，说明annual per capita都是属于中心词不可缺少的部分。

我倾向选A，原因是than 是可以又做连词又做主语的啊，另外 in countries 才是正确的搭配吧，B 选项前面的of $111 和后面的 of countries 是不是不对呢？求牛牛们指点！

我觉得如果选A，前提是省略的部分主谓是一样的，比较的是补足语、副词一类的东西。如果比较的二者是不同的东西，应该补充出来。

不需要主语谓语一致的，这个我确定~

1. 在此than是即做连词又做"关系代词"，既然是关系代词，那么就应该像定语从句一样后面补出谓语动词。可是A选项没有谓语动词。而且这里用“局部概念比较”更简洁，所以B比A好。
2. in和of都可以用，只是表达的内在含义稍有不同。in是范围概念，of是属性概念。前面的with也是一个属性概念，用of更加呼应一点，但是这点不会成为考点的。

1. 在此than是即做连词又做"关系代词"，既然是关系代词，那么就应该像定语从句一样后面补出谓语动词。可是A选项没有谓语动词。而且这里用“局部概念比较”更简洁，所以B比A好。

谢谢版主大人的解答，也就是说如果省略that 的话，A 的比较后面要加谓语动词的，但是这句话还是有些不懂：就是既然是关系代词，那么应该像定语从句一样后面补出谓语动词。这句话如何理解呢？

明白啦！！！就是说than 和as 就充当像定语从句里的 which， whose，that 等等的关系代词，在全局比较中，后面补出谓语动词，爱死你啦！！！嘿嘿~

Incorrect: Sue reads more than at night. (There is a second time period but no first time period to complete the comparison.)

In A, there is no first prepositional phrase to complete the comparison ending with "...than in the most impoverished countries..."

感谢你的资料~谢谢啦！！~在全局比较的时候要加than 或as 后面要加谓语动词，在局部比较的时候than 和as 后面要加that/ those/ the one/ the ones, 只有在单独比较介词短语的时候，才可能出现 than 或as 后面直接加 in。。。这样的介词短语。就像你举得例子：Sue reads more at night than in the day.
