答案是D，但是我一直在纠结A额，有CDer说A错是因为which有指代Canifornia嫌疑，指代会混淆，但是有前辈说过【在前有“核心词+介词、分词等修饰结构”或者插入语的情况下，which跳跃修饰前面的核心词，不能修饰紧邻的名词。】我感觉which就是指minority啊，而且主句是主系表结构，主语non-Hispanic Whites和minority不是可以视作同等的么，A选项到底错在哪呢？

我觉得即使是跳跃指代也指代的是minority，而不是non-Hispanic Whites,不能说因为是主系表结构就说主语和宾语可以视为等同啊。
而E用了v-ing形式: S v O,v-ing.若分词的逻辑主语是S，则分词短语作伴随状语;若分词的逻辑主语是前面整个句子（SvO),那么分词短语作结果状语。
在本题中，amounting to是修饰non-Hispanic Whites的，符合语意。
另外就是纠结于DE两个选项了，E what it was的表达很awkward,另外it指代不清。还有就是从语意上分析，因为比如说decrease...by表示下降了多少，decrease...to表示下降到多少，E中down from...by nearly three quarters表示非拉美裔白人从十年前的数量下降了3/4，成了现在不到1/2的数量，显然不符合逻辑。

我觉得a和d都对啊。。
这里不是核心词+介词么，那which就应该修饰核心词啊，而且prep语法笔记里说主系表结构中主语和宾语所指是同一事物，也就可以指代non-Hispanic Whites了啊。。。

求解释T T
