原文的意思是说：自行车制造商的技术守旧反映了他们设法去迎合的需求。真正对技术革新感兴趣且愿意为此支付费用的骑自行车的人只有自行车竞赛运动员。所以，自行车的技术革新只限于官方接受的以自行车竞赛为目的的标准。

前提：真正对技术革新感兴趣且愿意为此支付费用的骑自行车的人只有自行车竞赛运动员。
结论：自行车的技术革新只限于官方接受的以自行车竞赛为目的的标准。

问题：基于什么样的假设才能得出上述结论。

C选项：如果革新的标准官方不认可，自行车竞赛运动员就不会感兴趣。正好把前提和结论联系起来了。

同意楼上~说下我的理解
premise：真正对技术革新感兴趣并为其支付费用的只有racers.
conclusion：技术革新受限于官方认可的Standard.
找assumptions；
根据premise+assumption=conclusion,假设要把racers和standard 联系起来，相当于架个桥梁，即：racers只对官方认可的standard的技术革新感兴趣。其逆否命题就是，如果革新的Standard不受官方认可，racers就不会感兴趣，就是C选项了。

明白了，谢谢楼上2位了。顺便说下，是不是找assumptions的题都可以用premise+assumption=conclusion这个方法呢？

虽然是gap型,能从premise+ assump=con这个结构来答案，不知为什么一直感到突兀，没有那种直接gap的感觉，终于看了几遍发现漏看第一局话的作用：manufacture 要满足racer的demand；而 innovation is limited(也就是说manufacture的demand是有limited) ，随后可知racer是有limited.
