请教OG12-22，谢谢各位！！

OG12-22. None of the attempts to specify the causes of crime explains why most of the people exposed to the alleged causes do not commit crimes and, conversely, why so many of those not so exposed "have".

这个题目的语法结构是什么，看了半天还是不太清楚，请各位牛人们帮忙解释下，谢谢~

主语谓语
not commit crimes and (, conversely,)why so many of those （not so exposed） do].
宾语从句
圆括号里的都是修饰语或插入语。

None of 后面谓语动词不是视情况而定么，为什么不是explain 不是attempts 么
