A说这大学的fundraiser从那些之前没有捐款的人那获得捐款的成功率和别的大学的fundraiser的成功率差不多..这样就加强了题目中的结论: 这大学的高成功率主要是因为"people most likely to donate are those who have donated in the past",而不是fundraiser的个人能力比别的大学的强..

这题是一道填补Gap的题,
结论是The high success rate shows insufficient canvassing effort. Principle则是good fund-raisers constantly try less-likely prospects in an effort to expand the donor base.
所以根据Principle可以得出better fund-raisers gain more less-likly prospects (larger donor base),而A选项对less-likly prospects成功率的对比正好能得出结论。作者: thechooosenone 时间: 2011-9-3 23:09

如楼上所说，C选项跟题干信息“Smithtown University’s fund-raisers succeeded in getting donations from 80 percent of the potential donors they contacted. ”矛盾了，是无关选项。
