with speeds much higher than is [“Is” does not agree with speeds.]
with speeds that are much higher than are [That are is not required.]
at much higher speeds as are [“Much higher…………than” is correct not as.]
at much higher speeds than that [Lacks verb]
at speeds much higher than are [Correct]

with speeds
that are much higher than are [
That are is not required.]
at speeds much higher than are [

at speeds (that are) much higher than (speeds ) are
currently possible. 如果没有are,比较对象就不清楚,可能导致状语比较,例如:ØRice has protein of higher quality thanusual/everbfore/1000 years ago/people expected(状语比较)

“I eat apple faster than you do 如果写成 I eat apple faster than you
"Right: Vishal eats more carrots than donuts. (donuts must be the object) Wordy: Vishal eats more carrots than HE DOESdonuts. The first example is not ambiguous (donuts cannot eat carrots), so if all else is the same,
choose the first example over the slighdy wordier second example."
