标题: 请教:due to 与 because of 的区别~~ [打印本页] 作者: cherin 时间: 2011-7-12 11:30 标题: 请教:due to 与 because of 的区别~~ Due to means"cause by". It shoud only be used if it can be substitued with "caused by".
It doed not mean the same thing as "because of", Incorrect: The game was postponed due to rain. Correct: The game was postponed because of rain. Correct: The game's postponement was due to rain. 虽然知道due to与because of不是一回事儿,但是以上面的正确句子为例,rain是原因,比赛推迟是结果,我仍然觉得他们是差不多的,难道是强调的东西不同,侧重点不同? 谢谢各位解答~~作者: nemiah 时间: 2011-7-12 12:25
我觉得Due to / since 经常放在居首,表示众所周知的原因。 按这里的例子说due to只能作为 be due to 来用了。 似乎不太全面吧。。作者: puccan 时间: 2011-7-12 13:45
虽然不能说Due to表示原因是错误的,但是,是非正式用法 Due to 是 Adjective. Because of 是 adverb. 后面+ 名词,变成强调名词作者: lm5054 时间: 2012-2-21 11:00
看了这个有收获!!
