(A) in part that their steers should acquire certain characteristics (B) in part for the acquisition of certain characteristics in their steers (C) partly because of their steers acquiring certain characteristics (D) partly because certain characteristics should be acquired by their steers（E） (E) partly to acquire certain characteristics in their steers 我错选了D，就在D和E里面犹豫，因为我觉得D才是平行的所以才选了D。难道because从句可以和不定式表目的平行吗，为什么只需要partly平行就可以了？还有什么办法判断D是错的呀？？？求指导

这道题好像语法笔记里面有的，好像是PREP07吧？LZ可以下载来去查查看。 是个典型的平行陷阱题目。咋一看D最平行。但是逻辑意思上certain characteristics should be acquired by the steers这样的被动语态很怪异，表达awkward。E虽然没有D形式上那么平行，但是表达更准确，尤其是to acquire ....in their steers简洁有效。
