为什么E不对？

them出现的太不像话。

GMAT语法里出现them要没有合理的必须要用的感觉直接掠过不看。

E动作间的关系不对，或说是动作间的逻辑不对。coordinate与capitalize不是平行对等发生的一组动作，A选项表达的也不是这个意思。Coordinate是修饰性从句或分词里的动作，不在主句里。

coordinated和capitalized用and平行了起来，可以共同做定语就近修饰illustrations，也可以共同作谓语修饰主语Beatrix Potter，所以还是很不清楚到底修饰什么。

你把E连起来看后句，你会发现莫名其妙的两个and连用，根本读不顺。
carefully coordinated them with her narratives and capitalized on her keen observation and love of the natural world.
所以不对的

还可以这么理解：原文重心在于BP capitalized on..., 短语in...和coodinating... 只是做短语起修饰作用，若把coordinated和capitalized并列起来，改变了句子的重心。

我感觉这道题语法层面就考动词修饰语和名词修饰语的区别。

AB都是句子，PP是分词
A, B, PP， PP指向B
A，PP，B

P指向A
PP，A，B

P指向A

而定语从句必须touch，touch谁修饰谁。
