答案是D。说是examine和decide平行，这我没有异议。

可是B选项，如果看成executives examine ……，and they use ……in deciding.
they指代executives.
错在哪里呢？求教~~

逗号在and前面的话就用强调的意味而不是比较了

而且按你的意思的话，they前面是否应该加上that来保持平行？

B中use的用法use sth in doing不对，应该是use sth to do。并且B的结构是and连接两个完整句子，但这两个句子的主语相同，所以第二个句子的主语they可以省略。

没有发现题中有比较。。。你是说平行吗？——and 前面如果有逗号，代表强调后半句，而不是前后平行？
