In C and D, the comparative structure higher in quality than it is in wheat absurdly suggests that rice protein contains wheat.

不明白OG得这句解释。就拿C来说吧，the protein in rice is higher in quality than it is in wheat. 这样it 是指代the protein . 而且这个比较很平行， the protein in rice 同the protein in wheat 比较。能不能帮忙解释一下我到底错在哪里？谢谢先！

OG的意思说it 可歧义指代 the protein in rice (C)

也就是说 it 可以指代the protein或是 the protein in rice

In addition to的句子主语必须与主句主语一致，那么，句子的意思就是：除了（米蛋白）拥有比麦子更多的蛋白，米蛋白的质量...，逻辑错了，我们应该说：除了（米）拥有比麦子更多的蛋白，...；D的分析方法是一样的。

狗狗gg, 谢谢你，不过我有些意见。代词(it)总是指代中心词，也就是指代protein, 怎会指代the protein in rice呢？

以上的解答指出了一个逻辑错误（一个我刚看到这题时虽然找出的错误，但是一个不清楚的语法点， the initial clause modifies the nearest noun). 但是gg 没有解答我不明白的OG的解释， OG说C and D里的错误暗指了米蛋白里有麦（suggests that rice protein contains wheat), 我怎么就看不出来呢？“除了（米蛋白）拥有比麦子更多的蛋白，米蛋白的质量...，”，你的解释里也看不出来米蛋白里有麦啊？我是不是笨的出奇？

抱歉，我刚才有点马虎，草草地看了你的问题，想当然地认为你的问题和我当年的问题比较相似，再次抱歉。

这里的问题在于it/that的区别，it就是指代前面说过的那个东西，而that指代前面说过的那种东西。 C/D相当于把在rice里发现的那种（或那个）protein同时放在rice和wheat里进行比较，比较的是一个东西，而that相当于：把在rice里发现的protein与把在wheat里发现的protein进行比较，比较的是两个东西，但都是protein。

好像很罗嗦的说，不知道是不是讲得清楚，如果还不明白，再问吧。

哈哈，gg不用抱歉。谢还来不及呢。 gg真厉害，解释并总结得非常清楚。看来我在搜索的时候又问题，我怎么就没有搜到那个帖子呢？谢啦！看到你说“当年”就看了一些你的注册日期, gg 似乎是老将了。多关照。

这里的having 推断主语是和wheat 相平行的词

这里只有rice，只能是D/E。E，明显错，选B。

如果是protein的话，就是【米里的蛋白质】比【麦】含有更多的蛋白质。既蛋白质还有蛋白质。错了。

楼上的解释和我想的一样,先确定主语为rice,排除A/C/D.

然后比较对象为protein,又排除E.
