1. A huge flying reptile that died out with the dinosaurs some 65 million years ago, the Quetzalcoatlus had a wingspan of 36 feet, believed to be the largest flying creature the world has ever seen.

(A) believed to be

(B) and that is believed to be

(D) which was, it is believed,（C）

(E) which is believed to be

C中的it在这里一定指代前面一个句子的主语Quetzalcoatlus吗，会不会有歧义，谢谢！B为什么不可以？

world has ever seen提示用完成时，只能选C了。

在GMAT里，that不能单独使用，只能用于that car, that number 之类的形式。

A huge flying reptile that died out with the dinosaurs some 65 million years ago, the Quetzalcoatlus had a wingspan of 36 feet, and it is believed to have been the largest flying creature the world has ever seen.

一种大型的飞行类爬行动物和恐龙一起灭绝于6千5百万年前，Q的翼展达36 feet，而且Q被认为是世界上所见过的最大的飞行生物。

这里用了不定式的完成时态to have done，表达的动作发生在谓语动词(is believed)之前。由于Q已经灭绝，现在没有了，所以一定要用不定式的完成时态；如果用不定式的一般时，表示不定式的时态和谓语动词一致，则暗示这种动物还活在世上。

是否分词作后置定语修饰名词时应该紧跟在名词后面呢？

如果这个题,believed理解为过去分词，是否不可？
