首先弱弱的问一声，这句话我找不到谓语诶，此题里哪个词是谓语啊~还有at the same time as 后面的句子不是要跟前面的句子相对应么，those代表类似A中的the civilizations呼应这句话后面是在几个地方的文明，这样也与as前面的那句话对照？
还是说those 不能指代civilizations？为什么不能呢

3. those作为代词一定要指代前面说过的词，这个词在语法中叫做those的referent。而前面只出现过civilization，木有S，所以those没有东西可以指代

those的那个用法懂了，thxxx
但是，你说threaten to destroy是谓语，可是threaten不是过去分词形式么，是修饰前面的名字吧，还是要分成threaten to, destroy是真动词谓语？

PS：这是我睡前发的，不在国内，时差时差嘿嘿

Lz是不是看见有个ten就以为是分词了？其实threaten本身就是动词原形阿

这样不是更平行么？？？

求大牛解答。

同问  为什么不能加上did,前面那个civilization 也有that flourished
