A resercher discovered that people who have low levels of immune-system activity tend to score much lower on tests of metal health than do people with normal or high immune-system activity. The researcher concluded from this experiment that the immune system protects against mental illness as well as against physical disease.

The researcher's conclusion depends on which of the following assumptions?

(A)High immune-ststem activity protects against mental illness better than normal immune-system activity does.

(B)Mental illness is similaar to physical disease in its effects on body system.

(C)People with high immune-system activity cannot develop mental illness.

(D)Metal illness does not cause people's immune-system activity to decrease.

(E)Psychological treatment of mental illness is not as effective as is medical tratment.

答案

为何D是答案?

D的意思:是精神疾病不会导致人们的免疫能力下降.

原文的结论:免疫系统在防护身体疾病的同时,也防护精神疾病.

本人实在看不出D如何是该结论的假设,即使用NOT+WEAKEN,也看不出:精神疾病会导致人们的免疫能力下降,会削弱该结论? 3个月前我做这题的感觉与现在完全一样,请大虾们助我一臂之力.

这道题目偶总结的内在逻辑就是：

两个现象A和B，既有可能是A导致B，也有可能是B导致A，类似题目还有OG154。

通常的做法就是如果题目说是A导致B，你就选B导致A的选项。

A和B是关联关系，题干结论由A推出B，那末还必须排除由B推出A的可能，即假设由B无法推出A。
