有没有人选c，这里的he or she 不能优先指代从句中的an employer 吗？

为什么要选C，前四个选项中B是唯一不产生歧义的，而(E)是recoup的用法错。

请问， recoup的用法。

是不是没有 recoup for 这样子的搭配？

还是 recoup for 用在这里不合适呢？

recoup is vt, you can use as "recoup sth" 扣除 sth ,恢复sth

However, recoup can be used as: "recoup sb for sth". 补偿 sb sth.

when recoup is vi, it is 补偿损失.

根据句子意义, recoup sth 比较合适.

when there are several referents in the sentence, it is unclear to use a pronoun. Therefore, the pronouns should be replaced by a noun.
