题干说Monthly revenues from Printwell’s ink-jet printers 没有increase，但是the Ink Jet Division 不光生产Printwell’s ink-jet printers 还生产 the ink cartridges ，那么如果 the revenues from the ink cartridges 增加了的话，那么就可以推翻the Ink Jet Division must be providing the company with much smaller than it used to.

A说 Printwell’s ink-jet printers（A）只能接受Printwell’s ink cartridges（B），换句话说你用了A后就必须使用B，那么题干说A的销量在增加，这样必然带动B的销量增加，B的增加可能带来此部门收益的增加。

题目说Printwell’s Ink Jet Division manufactures ink-jet printers and the ink cartridges，像LS说的可以记为A和B，也就是说这个公司生产A和B这两种东西，然后题目接着说A的sales增加了，但是收益却没有增加，因为竞争使得这个公司降低了价格，最后说因为这个公司不能减少制作A的成本，所以这个Ink Jet Division 给公司带来的收益比以前少了。

问题问削弱，首先注意到，题目一直在说因为Ink Jet Division 的A价格低了，成本降不了，所以虽然sale高，但是收入却没有增加，看到这我们很快发现了文章一个错误，那就是B呢？Ink Jet Division 不光只卖A 啊，它也卖B啊，所以这就是削弱的切入点

A选项说 A这个东西需要经常换ink也就是B，而A只能用B这种ink，别的不行，由此可以看出，A的sale增加，虽然没有带来直接的收益，但是带动了B的增加，因此不能说这整个Ink Jet Division 给公司带来的收益比以前少了，因此是削弱。

LZ看选项中这部分Ink-jet printers in regular use frequently need new ink cartridges, ，注意frequently，经常需要换ink，所以卖出一个printer带动的ink的增加应该是很大的，而且文中没有提到ink的价格和成本问题，所以我们可以assume一般情况下，卖的越多自然是收入越高的，所以成功削弱了文中的结论

你的问题在理，销量的增加不一定利润就增加~但是题目是most weaken the argument,那么A选项是所有里面最好的一个！即使它may not weaken the argument。

可是D选项说，P已经是行业里增长的最快了，所以不用削弱部门，不也能weaken么？

D选项的对比的对象是错误的，不用看具体的就排除了~题干要你weaken的是the Ink Jet Division 在现在与它自己以前的revenue 的对比，对比的对象是the Ink Jet Division是它本身，而D说 P已经是行业里增长的最快了，那是P行业与其他行业之间的比较，和 Division 的收入在不同时期的变化无关。所以D排除~不知道这样说你理解没？

换句话说，P已经是行业里增长最快的了，也不能保证目前的division收入就比以前的少。

LS说的很好很清楚，D明显是无关选项，LZ在做题的时候要注意focus在结论上，原文的结论是这个division贡献的收益少了，跟别的竞争者没有关系，就算P是这个行业里总收益最高的，但这个division的贡献还是有可能是下降的，所以D不对

好吧应该选择A，选的时候就在AB中间纠结，A是对的，客人现在经常买cartridges，但是printer 和 cartridges 是匹配的。一定要买cartridges。所以卖printer的时候带动了卖cartridges。所以月收入就能增加了。
