标题: 关于定语从句的修饰性问题 [打印本页] 作者: guoqi 时间: 2011-5-31 13:52 标题: 关于定语从句的修饰性问题 看完白勇的书 其中在168页写的明明白白.. 名词+介词短语+ 定语从句 定语从句可以实现跳跃修饰 这跟大部分的情况是相悖的， 几乎所有的{ ，+ which }都是不能实现跳跃修饰 比较诡异.....但是这个题却很明白的说明可以跳跃修饰.题目如下: Studies show that young people with higher-than-average blood pressure {and their families have a history of high blood pressuree} are more lifely than others to develop a severe form of the condition. 答案是whose families have a history of high blood pressure 现在不讨论这个其他的问题 就是这个跳跃性修饰的问题 求解释
还有一道题According to the National Pasta Association, per-capita consumption of pasta in the United States, which has already been approaching 19 pounds a year, will achieve 30 pounds a year by the twenty-first century. 句子全部划线 答案是According to the National Pasta Association, per-capita consumption of pasta in the United States is already approaching 19 pounds a year and will reach 30 pounds a year by the twenty-first century. 个人认为这个明显的改变了句子结构 变成了并列式...这个在日常的练习中也是一个很明显的错误 求NN 解释

我也对这个地方非常的困惑啊，我觉得是不是因为第一句里pressure是不可能有family的所以不会有歧义的问题（其实GMAT还是有包含一些常识在里面的..），而第二句里united states也可以做approach的主语，因为但看united states is approaching 还是说得通的，所以会有歧义问题。其实我第二题也做错了，还是不太理解..因为E明显就把重心给改了.. 主要是要什么句子表达意思要清晰吧。 还有一般SC的错误不会只有一个，如果真的搞不清跳跃修饰，就找其他错点吧。
