(E) as old as their supposedly

Choices A, C, and E do not state the comparison logically. The expression as old as indicates equality of age, but the sentence indicates that the Brittany monuments predate the Mediterranean monuments by 2,000 years（as……as 前不能加数量词）. In B, the best choice, older than makes this point of comparison clear. B also correctly uses the adjective supposed, rather than the adverb supposedly (通过逻辑意思来判定)used in D and E, to modify the noun phrase Mediterranean predecessors.

呵呵,og的当然正确,这是最官方的解释了.

一方面是2000 years,另一方面是as old as,这两个肯定不兼容,要不然GG说到底是老了2000年,还是一样大2000年呢?

four times本身指的是倍数关系

而2000 years指的是固定值
