应该是C,
首先，A 和B都是一个结构, coordinating表伴随，不通。 排出。 D和E的结构相同，而且coordinated 表示被动，意思不通。
希望有更好的答案

D 当然不对， Carefully coordinated with her narratives 需要修饰它后面紧跟的名词，即 her book illustrations，而D选项此phrase 是修饰Beatrix Potter，换句话说，是Beatrix Potter（正确的理解应该是 her book illustrations） is coordinated with her narratives 显然是说不通的。不知你懂了没？

E当中的them无法代指illustrations 因为前面是一个插入成分，删除了之后就无指代了

其实说实在的，我看完了附件里的关于coordinating和sequence的解释了，
但我还是不是十分的明白啊
真的我真没理解，谁能用再大白话一点的词帮我解释解释OG的这个confuse the sequence of time

其实E也还好理解：按照E的意思，“BP，在他的illustration中将illustration与narrative相结合了”，逻辑意思显然是不通顺的。
除此之外，通常改变句子主从关系的选项都不怎么受待见，因为改变了原文原有的含义

以下是本人综合了前辈的意见总结的，和各位分享~不对的还请指教
(A) Beatrix Potter, in her book illustrations, carefully coordinating them with her narratives,
1)them can not refer to "book illustrations". in her book illustrations is in paranthesis and we should be able to remove the content of the subordinate clause without impacting the mail clause. However, "them" has no reference if in her illustrations is removed. The antecedent to a pronoun in the main clause of the sentence cannot occur only in phrase in paranthesis.

这题我一开始错选了E，也是觉得自己还挺自信的。= = 唉，每次在论坛留言怎么都是破除我旧三观的题。
前辈们的总结已经很详细了，我只是正好想起白天复习CR的时候，有一个心得：
往往放到平时常见的句子里时，这题的问题就会一眼看穿了——
你平时造句的时候，会在主语人物和人物的行为直接愣愣插入一个介词短语吗？主谓宾定状补。平时总在强调的S要和V离得尽量近一些，其实还是这个意思。
这么一想，E根本应该就是一开始就会排除的答案。只不过这是考题，放在了一个我们不熟悉的语境里，难免答题的时候就陷进去了，只想着找各种语法规则去套。
越往后，错的越多，越明白什么叫终极大招是Meaning啊。T^T
在职人士熬夜复习GMAT，又做错题了。又长知识了！！

其实我对整句在说什么，尤其是capitalized on十分不解。匆忙之中就选了E。
