prep2008语法笔记里的解释是， C：able/unable to be done的结构错误 able/unable, 表示主语具备能力完成某个动作或某种行为，一般用于生命体，是不能用sth be able/unable to be done这种结构的作者: wynyy2000 时间: 2011-5-15 14:11

重心 的确偏移了~ A 选项其实 说的很好了，一般 A 无错误的话，就不要轻易改句子的重心，
A so gradual as to be indistinguishable ：即 major economic shifts are indistinguishable . 重心是 economic shifts C so gradual that they are unable to be distinguished ：major economic shifts are unable to be distinguished. 那么改成被动后， 说明有一个 unnamed 的 人或货物 在操作 使其 不能 be distinguished . 重心就变了啊~ ~用 unable(本身也有错错误) to be distinguishable (形容词)就好了。 希望对你有启发 啊~
