我的问题是这道题考点是平行吗？如果是平行的话我觉得E有问题啊，请大家帮个忙看一下~

答案是D 我选的B
B错除了hold单复数形式错以外，that没有紧挨其修饰的词law有错吗？
还有一个问题关于D中的because of 后面不是只可以跟名词或者代词吗？是说D中的law后的动词都是非谓语形式的所以D后的because of后跟的仍然是个名词？

19题may和possible重复了，所以排除ABC
看了过去的讨论帖，E中的melting和a rise一个是动名词一个是名词可以平行吗？
实在是不明白，大家帮忙看看哇~！谢谢

个人认为这里的melting 可以当成名词吧，有类似用法： melting point~

第一题：melting 在这里是动名词的意思吧  所以可以跟后面的名词并列

第二题：because of 后面跟 名词 或者 sb‘s doing 但是’s一般省略
比如：牛津高阶上例句——Because of his wife('s) being there, I said nothing about it.
that紧跟在imprisonment后面，会被以为是修饰 imprisonment 的。
