我始终不明白E哪里比C好？二者都平衡啊，geared to/ toward都对的啊~how to make a choice?

to 在这里是介词，后面要用ving; geared toward doing sth...

哈？就这样判定？考试的时候怎么知道是不定式还是加doing哦？

moreover C means: to enhance the performance and (to enhance) the preparation.
It's awkward to say 'to enhance the preparation', isn't it?
This distorts the logic of the sentence. The correct paralellism should be like that in E: geared toward enhancing the performance and (toward) preparing them....

indeed, enhance --prepare is better, thanks a lot!
