D中间，注意下the的位置，可以发现其实是变成了 the amount and the number，而amount有自己的形容词，就是increasing，而continually修饰increasing，说到底，这两个只是修饰amount的，并没有和number平衡，或者说修饰number

increase 可以与with也可以与as用,这个不成为判断理由。答案是选C啊。 我也疑惑为什么不选D,为什么说"fail to indicate that the number of satellites is also growing"? 是因为 "the continually increasing amount of space debris" and "the number of sttellites".从平行的角度理解，increasing只修饰amount. 有更多的解释么?作者: AlohaDJ 时间: 2011-8-25 15:34

Notice the parallel list in this sentence – chances increase greatly with
a. The continually increasing amount of space debris
b. The number of satellites.
